DrBob That was bloody awful, really hard work and felt like I was getting nowhere. Hopefully it'll get easier from here, but I'm not convinced!
won first M40, which was lucky to say the least.
Windy today, which didn't help, but no valid excuses, just a poor run. Cambridge & Coleridge AC 31:04 35:07 36:51 79.95

Cazaroo Happy to have PB'd but my god it was a toughy! You can always rely on gusty wind in Cambourne! The mixed terrain adds to the fun too!! Cambridge & Coleridge AC 40:24 40:24 42:16 70.87

Lyra OK PB (chip time - provisional.) I'm slightly disappointed with my performance, because I ran conservatively. Found the course very challenging - off road, had to do a lot of awkward overtaking in the first couple of k. Last mile into the wind was very hard and got a dreadful mile 6 split. However, given the last two weeks' training, that could have been much worse. Unaffiliated 44:01 44:01 45:14 65.93

kiki.d The chance for another stab at that elusive PB! Still elusive but a good race, 6th FV45 and a creditable 205th out of almost 1,000 runners. Saffron Striders RC 47:19 47:55 48:00 47:55 66.84

Badger A few seconds slower than Ely NYE, then. Mostly notable for getting there by driving myself alone in the car, not something I've been able to do for a bit FERC 46:34 52:07 52:07 54.70

DitzyPlodder Predicted time - yes really! Not run for a month, getting over a chest infection and running with a newbie who hasn't run that far yet! Looking forward to it though should be a nice day out! :-) Unaffiliated 55:51 1:10:36 1:15:00 1:10:36 43.49
