funkin My intention was to make myself know that I can run consistently sub 19:30 and today I threw that one out of the ball-park and into new territory. I ran at the back of a tough pack today and down the final straight with encouragement from a fellow club runner (cheers Darren) I ran my little heart out and gained a few places. Rach E Absolutely ecstatic with my new PB :-) Ran a controlled first k in 3:55 and sped up. Felt very good throughout and I know I have more in me which is a good thing. I think it's finally taught me that a steady start does work. Bushy is a nice course too. Nice to catch up with people and go for coffee afterwards. Av pace: 5:54 min/mile or 3:40min/km.
