Dave B Really happy with that, first half since all my achilles problems and they are feeling good! However I have a very very sore knee!!!

Forest Runner With sore hamstrings, a bad back and a bad stomach, I was just hoping that I could manage sub 1:40. I scraped in by 13 seconds. Still love the course though, even though it was my worst ever result at Burnham. Bracknell Forest Runners 1:30:50 1:33:40 1:39:47 66.44
GAZGIB I thought I'd be a couple of weeks into my marathon training by now, but Mallorca was just too hot, so it starts with this race. **RESULT** Felt terrible at 3-4 miles and thought I would be dropping out after the first lap. However kept going but had to walk on any hills after 11m. Bracknell Forest Runners 1:35:38 1:59:19 2:00:00 2:09:32 45.61
Gobi Surprised indeed and finished 3rd

Went off in a group of about 10 with Chris Phelan, Tom Munt, Nath and Paddy from Aldershot. The first 3 were long gone(so I thought) After about 5 miles I started to move through the field. Having moved past Chris and Tom I realised at half way I had a chance at sub 74 but more than that I was in 5th place and could see all the way to 2nd. Paddy was the man in 4th and moving well and by 9 miles he was 3rd and I was 4th.(so much for sub77) I was now racing and closing fast on Paddy. 10 miles in 56.39 and strong. Caught Paddy and he tucked in behind me. On the way to 12 I kicked up the hill and then skipped the drinks station. Pushed on for home and 3rd place. NICE!!!!

Kieren Planning on using this as a training run.

*update* I had an awful race. I blew up at 4 miles - nothing left in the hips and couldn't lift my legs. I knew I wasn't going to PB but thought sub-1:35 would be possible. I ended up finishing in 1:48 :(
I've been beach running and strength training the core and hip flexors so thought I'd power through the hills. Maybe they weren't rested enough because the legs just gave up on me. Serpentine RC, Ealing Eagles Running Club 1:31:11 1:41:00 1:40:00 1:48:31 53.80

Rach E Entered this on the day as I couldn't do the triathlon I'd planned to do because of smashed cheekbone. Aimed at the start to run a similar time to last week and pretty much did which was good as my legs were not at all rested. First lap felt easy, second lap felt hard :-O Aldershot, Farnham & District AC, Team Kennet 1:20:28 1:20:56 1:23:54 77.73
rosa So not going to be a PB, another who got their worst HM time here last year, so hopefully better than that, but running currently slightly off so expect to struggle :( Serpentine RC 1:26:24 1:26:24 1:32:16 70.66

Slowly But Shirley ... erm ... really DID take this one easy didn't I?!! After racing hard on Thurs and Fri eves (and PB'ing on those .. yay!), legs were shattered today and was quite happy to plod around this one sociably with 2 friends. We totally enjoyed it - lovely course, though fairly undulating too which we knew anyway. Next year I'll actually put some proper effort into it though as felt just a bit guilty!! Sportysteph Chip time. Arrived at venue too late. Course is two laps of the woods. Ran first half too fast - on target for 1h 35 at halfway point. Died at mile 9. Unaffiliated 1:39:31 1:44:08 1:44:35 64.50

WineRunner52 Worst EVER half marathon time last year - hot, hills and injury. Must be a course PB but DEFINITELY not a Half Marathon PB. Road Runners Club 1:29:23 1:45:39 1:50:00 1:54:19 60.12
~Ed~ Was on course for a sub 1:30 at halfway but the hills got me in the second half. Slightly disappointed to be over 1:30 but gave it everything and got a pb by nearly 8 minutes so pretty pleased with the run really. Nice well organised race.
