HBNS Offered a run down an age group in M45 team as it was incomplete, but swollen knee after colliding with a dog is causing concern, realistic aim will be to not finish last in the M35/M40/M45 race. Finished 78/85, and managed to stay ahead of a couple of other Scots, now having enforced rest as knee is still swollen and painful. Cambuslang Harriers 28:15 33:34 33:34 71.08
paulhalford Pleased to be fourth counter for Wales M35 (who took silver) and to beat England's fourth man. Probably a better performance than my last two races. Took it steady at the start and ended up running dead-evenly. Splits for each lap (approx): 7:54, 7:53, 7:49, 7:32 (shorter but would have been about 7:45-7:50?). 47th overall and 17th M35 out of 24. Took about 14s out of the two English M35s just behind over the last 5-6mins. Werrington Joggers
RunningBob First time running in an England vest - excited!
I really enjoyed the experience. It was very flat, fast and only 8k so felt like a sprint for me. It really was running with the big boys as I struggled to keep up with the mid pack. I finished 9th V45 and scraped in as the 4th counter in the winning England team.

Yesterday I went straight back out and ran Manchester League XC at Sherdley Park still wearing the red shorts of England. Wilmslow RC 31:10 31:10 31:10 72.89
