Strider Race was well organised and brilliantly supported by both runners (+/- 10,000) and supporters all the way. The conditions were perfect with little humidity and a light drizzle. No wind. Good temp. Was a good run. Only complaint is the mile markers were no visible for the last 2miles so messed up pace. Hercules Wimbledon AC 33:31 36:18 35:30 36:18 72.76

ClaireT Really enjoy this race, running through central London is fantastic, and the crowd support is amazing. Weather was a bit better this year for running, still warm and humid but refreshingly drizzly for the first half. Not one of my fastest times, but pleased enough as I ran this on the back of a late night out dancing, and was a big improvement on last year! Garmin distance measured 10.25K so could have been on for a 40-minuter if this is correct. Victoria Park - City of Glasgow AC, Scottish Veteran Harriers Club 38:11 38:59 41:00 41:05 72.59

johnevison Based on the half marathon I did recently where I beat my pb for 10k over the first half I should be on for a fast one

As long as the weather isn't too hot!

UPDATE

Unfortunately, since that optimism I have mostly followed a training regime of fags and beer meaning I missed my target but it is a NEW PB! Here is to a sub 50 next time!

I definitely didnt give it enough training, I didn't push myself fast enough. My splits were lame, they were the same speed I splitted for the half marathon a little while ago.

martynjlane This was my first ever race. Back again this year and hope to beat my time last year by a good 6 to 7 minutes. Unaffiliated 42:57 51:00 57:00 53:00 50.47
runningflea New PB - despite having to fight through the route due to the non-penned start
I still like this race desipte lots of people giving it bad reviews.
If they sorted out the chaos at the start and end though it would be sooo much better. UKnetrunner 55:44 55:44 1:00:00 55:44 53.33

trumpton riots Great race weather.
Weekend in town sightseeing in rain not the best race prep.
Very crowded start - 25mins to cross the line!
Paced by WB all round to a small PB.
Dodging LOADS of people - don't think we were overtaken by anyone.
Pretty well organised and great atmosphere Evesham Vale RC 49:08 49:08 1:00:00 49:08 55.76
