Blister This was my first ever race, didn't really care what time I did, just wanted to cross the finish line. I was really chuffed on the day when I managed to complete the race in less than 2 hours and only had to stop once for a pee! TeamBath AC, Somer AC, Walton AC 1:23:57 1:49:23 1:50:00 1:49:23 53.41

eL Bee! First EVER race. I was supposed to be doing this with an ex-colleague (Didn't get organised enough to put her entry in) and my Sister (entered too late and race was full).
I'd never run more than 10 miles before this so had no idea if I would even get around successfully.

So was majorly chuffed at the time (considering the fact that training had been 'sporadic' and I had Blown my legs on a 10 miler into the wind the Wednesday before!!!!) Cumberland AC 1:25:32 1:44:35 1:44:35 1:44:35 56.49
Go-KL After another summer spent cross training recovering from a stress fracture and building up the miles slowly, this was another comeback race.
And it was certainly one of my quickest ever comeback races. Running with my brother, we stayed together for about 8 miles and then I pulled gradually away from him. A difficult mile on the cobbles aside I ran strongly and reckoned I could have gone a little quicker.
The success of this run meant that it dawned a new era in my training where I would run no more than 3-4 times a week and concentrate on cross training much more - as I seemed to get the same results as I did running 6 days a week but with less chance of impact injuries.
