Colutd Robbo Why can't I go faster than this!! All seemed good for the first 3 - 23:45. Normal slog for the next 10. Mind you anything under 1:50 is a plus so I'm fairly pleased. Thanks O's Andy for passing me on your warm down 4 miles! My warm down was walking to the pub/car. Unaffiliated 1:47:48 1:49:17 1:50:00 1:49:17 56.04

firemannotsam Good race about the time I expected as I have had a niggle or two the last couple of week, so traiuning has been off. Bishops Stortford RC, Essex County Fire and Rescue Service 1:47:25 1:47:25 1:45:00 1:47:25 54.04

lisa_w I only started running in Oct 07. Started training for this race in January, 4 times a week. I didn't miss one training session. Weather had been glorious (not rain), I hadn't been ill with colds and so on. Then bang, would you believe it, the week running up to the day of the race, my daughter came down with chicken pox, I fell down the stairs (hurt my back) then to top it off, I come down with a rotten cold, eyes streaming everything. Was not sure if I was going to run, met office issue storm warnings for the day of the run. What a week!!!

Still I took part and I did it in 02:23:09 I predicted 2hr 40m and I have to say that I am very proud of myself :-)

TROSaracen First run out since Oct last year and a gentle sighter more than anything after long injury/apathy lay off. No training base to even dream of a PB, but under 1:40 will be a decent outing. UPDATE: Well pleased with the outcome. Sub 7 minute miled until half way, then had a bad 3 miles before getting back to 7 min pace for the last 3 miles. Nice course, decent weather, good crowds for much of the route (jelly babies much appreciated!)

Ultra Kanga Kazzaaaaah!! Sorry to whoever bet on me but tbh I'd not have been able to do much more even if I'd known there was a bet! Combination of Draycote 3 weeks ago and lack of speed work mean I just didn't have the 'puff' for a faster time. Managed a far more even run and didn't struggle over the last mile or so like I did last year. Could possibly have pushed myself a bit harder but with a race next week I decided to just see how it went. 100 Marathon Club 1:49:17 1:53:09 1:54:35 59.84

Wabo not run much at all lately so no expectations if I do sub 2 I will be happy with that, bit cocky of me to think I would sub 2 on no training! Still it was close. Eton Manor AC, Orion Harriers 1:57:23 1:59:38 1:57:00 2:00:29 59.87

WineRunner52 First outing since training run on 24th Feb. Knee still bruised and sore after fall on 21st Feb; (and back muscles playing up) but still hoping for sub 1hr 50mins. UPDATE Pleased with run - knee and back held up - legs felt a bite tired towards end - now push on for London!!! Road Runners Club 1:29:23 1:45:39 1:50:00 1:53:22 60.48
