KinkyS A bimble in the woods! Legs still very tired from last weekend's District Double, and this felt more like the second half of a full marathon, but the head enjoyed the lovely offroad course and small, friendly feel of this race. Set off aiming for 8:30mm pace, pushed on a little at the end when I realised sub 1:50 was possible. A new PW and I don't care :-) Todmorden Harriers & AC, The Green Runners 1:31:57 1:37:21 1:49:16 59.02
mxhornet Anything quicker than last year would be fine.

Update - a fair bit slower but I'd say that was pretty much down to the wind, struggled between 3 and 7 miles mentally !! The half itself was going to my longest run for three weeks and I'd done 5 miles as a warm up just to make things a little harder for myself lol with warm down I managed just over 20 miles so still a bit of a step up to Poppyline Marathon in a fortnight. Schnecke Hoping for another PB here this year, but it will be a pretty close thing. Update - just about managed it but it was very hard - I was so wrecked when I finished that I forgot to stop my watch, but I know it was about 10 seconds to cross the start line so this time should be pretty accurate. I kept expecting it to get better, but it never did and I felt pretty cr*p all the way round. North Herts Road Runners 1:45:17 1:55:21 1:57:56 61.16
