chumleywarner Fantastic race. Really well paced. Perfect weather too, 6 degrees, not blowy.

Enaoslm Ran this race last year in 2hr43m, but really struggled towards the end and think I experienced the infamous wall. this year I'm better prepared and hope to achieve a better time!!
Didn't really have a stategy, but thought I'd see how it went and it went very well. Started around 7 min/mile and managed to maintain it. Helped running with Chris Furness of Basingstoke and Mid Hants for 1st half and then some guy called George until mile 18. Tough through last few miles but that was expected!! Very consistent running, which is good preparation for Brighton. Well marshalled course and great support from the few that were there!! Mrs. Mole Fantastic, I didn't think I could run it this quickly. Legs ceased up from 17 miles onwards though, could hardly move them over the lest few miles which is reflected in my split times. Sandhurst Joggers, Spa Striders RC 2:54:57 3:02:55 3:02:55 64.71
