Could do better... Race involved more hills than expected but I went well, comfortably beating my previous PB. Think there is more in the tank yet as well. Unaffiliated 1:37:54 1:37:54 1:45:00 1:37:54 60.12
Forest Runner Time to be confirmed. Quite pleased with this race, but I could have been a lot faster if my back hadn't been playing up so much over the last 3 days. My legs felt really strong and my breathing was nice and controlled. Bracknell Forest Runners 1:30:50 1:33:40 1:34:00 1:33:40 70.78

GAZGIB 2 hours looked safe but have pulled a muscle a week prior so not even sure if I'm able to race now. UPDATE - A bit of sunstroke the day before left me feeling sick and overheated by mile 3. So I eased off and tried to cool down, calf ached quite a bit, but was happy to get round, despite feeling awful. Bracknell Forest Runners 1:35:38 1:59:19 2:00:00 2:03:52 47.70

Jonny Paced myself well and found myself running past numerous runners in the second half of the race. May have been able to go faster but was a little cautious with the Reading disaster. Overall I'm pleased with this performance and feel fresh and ready to go at it again. Unaffiliated 1:27:05 1:31:50 1:31:50 63.65
Keefy Beefy Not a good one for me. Half-heartedly went for it at the start, didn't feel great and then gave up. Well organised race and a fairly challenging course. Saw the Itch! Unaffiliated 1:30:00 1:30:00 1:30:00 1:37:30 59.88
MadRobby A well organised and pleasant run along Bracknell's extensive cycle path network. Bouyed by the cheering crowds from the nieghbouring council estates who braved the rain. The hills just after half way were a challenge. I was on for PB, but mile 9 was very slow (not sure if it was me or dodgey mile markers). Anyway, finished just outside PB but very pleased with my time for an undulating course with some tight turns. Unaffiliated 1:33:13 1:33:13 1:34:00 1:33:27 62.98

McCargathon Pouring with rain, hilly and spent most of the time running around industrial estates but first Half Marathon and beat Simon! BeaRCats running club 1:42:59 2:02:02 2:02:02 47.84

sebby Not official time but definitely no PB. Was the hardest race I've done so far, my body just didn't feel up for it & I felt tired & achey all the way round. Kept going at aimed for pace for 8 miles & then it all slowly fell apart. Sorry betting folks :-( Dudley Kingswinford RC 2:03:20 2:07:16 2:09:00 2:17:46 47.33

Sid I'll be happy to go under 1:50 - I believe I will ( : Not sure if I'll get a PB but who knows what will happen on the day! Not a PB but still 30 minutes faster than I did it 3 years ago - now that's something to smile about ( : No leg issues either - big smiles ( : clock time 1.52.57 Sandhurst Joggers 1:35:10 1:46:11 1:49:59 1:51:53 60.29
WineRunner52 Two weeks after London - we shall see!! UPDATE Pleased with run. Felt good especially the last few miles - undulating with a good steady incline in 7th mile. Road Runners Club 1:29:23 1:45:39 1:50:00 1:48:04 63.60
Winky! I actually surprised myself on this one - inspite of the storm I got a PB - here's my training regime below...
Ran Reading Half, ran twice the week after before taking a month long gourmet food and wine holiday leading to an additional stone in weight and only three short runs completed since 31st March!....hum, can anyone tell me how that's fair?

Perhaps becoming a Fetchie just before the race created some kind of special force and momentum within?!?!

It also leads me to ask what's possible if I actually train well/hard and eat right! Perhaps I'll find out at the next one...

Excellent support from the locals too- THANK YOU! Unaffiliated 1:54:53 1:55:29 2:10:00 1:55:29 56.48
