Martian Dashes Not an easy race, but no surprises having run the course last week. All was as I imagined, even down to the headwind on the way up to Bluewater.

Apart from getting in to park first-thing this event was well organised, very well organised.
-
A local race in mid-August is welcome. Bearing in mind the time of year, another water station perhaps might help those out for over the hour.
-
No PB but an equivalent sort of performance to Cliffe. I think I could have done better balancing cadence and stride length along the back straight.
-
I managed to enjoy supporting a local (£25.00) race. I hope it's back next year. Unaffiliated 37:08 37:27 39:40 73.65

Alun Good race, felt Ok from the start.

Paced at about 4:30/KM.

Ran through halfway at 21:10 and pushed onto the finish for a new PB of 42:11.

Knee's a bit swollen now, hopefully its just because of the effort I put in! Medway & Maidstone AC 37:04 42:11 44:00 42:11 65.46
Scooby Dave Hoping to get a PB but it will probably be close with only a few seconds in it. Training has been going well after the Paris Marathon. A lot will depend on how busy the course is in the first 3km and how quickly we go off at the start.

Sorry to all those who bet. Got to 8k at a perfect pace and then blew up in the last 2k. Unaffiliated 40:11 46:05 46:05 58.05
redordead Good comeback race - course harder than expected but a good workout. Happy with the time - my pace was much quicker than any of my previous training runs. Unaffiliated 40:47 43:50 46:24 57.42

Lloydie A well turned out event, good hills at the start which had an effect on me. i can not pace myself when i see people passing me. my groin started hurting at 6km to which i have stretched off and today seems fine. BUT my left ankle has completely packed in i cant walk on it. i can see a visit to the doctor's tomorrow. A good race see you next year. Unaffiliated 52:44 52:44 45:00 52:44 50.23
Sniss Had a great day for my first ever race. Started off slow as advised and hit halfway marker at 28.50ish
Then just built up the speed from there and really went for it at the 8k marker.
New PB ofcourse, and definately feel i could beat it. Next time aiming for sub 50 minutes. Unaffiliated 52:41 53:51 1:00:00 53:51 49.03

Funkydee Would have liked to got PB but not bad for first race since running the marathon. A bit hilly at the start but some good downhills as well. Maidstone Harriers 58:41 58:41 1:01:00 1:01:59 48.21
