Lisrun This had been a very warm day and it was still sunny and fairly hot during the race. Got terrible cramp in my right calf the night before the race and I decided to take it easy so that I would be okay for Bowerdale on Sunday. As the race progressed I speeded up a bit then just before 5m my left calf muscle gave out and I had to walk to the finish. Two Towels. Considering the heat i was pretty chuffed with my time, managed two miles at 7.36 two miles at 8.02 and averaged 7.43 per mile shame it was not a 10k course could have been on for a Pb. Black Cat This is a good race to do and I was looking forward to it. Unfortunately a dodgy lunchtime sandwich lead to... well you could probably guess.
