FML This is my 3rd half marathon, suffer in windy conditions in the last 2. So if weather is good and my pacemaker survives FLM hopefully on for this! Wow!!!!! Pllumby The weather was perfect, overcast, no wind and light rain. Hadn't done enough prep for the race with only a couple of 10milers but decided to go for it anyway! Ended up beating my PB! Knee buggered tho :-( 447 of 932 Unaffiliated 1:43:14 1:52:51 1:55:00 1:54:00 52.45

snogard As predicted it rained, so cold and wet to begin with. The course is flat and is along the promenade and the sea defences. I set off too fast, 1st mile in 9:24, slowed the nest to to 10mins and then settled into 11:00 - 11:30 minute miles. Had problems between miles 6 and 10, shoe lace kept comming undone and was struggling to keep pace, but this settled again. Mostly a good run Stockport Harriers & AC 2:00:02 2:27:53 2:27:53 48.77
Steady Edina Nearly pulled out at the last minute - I was scared because I knew I hadn't prepared properly. So glad I went met lots of lovely people along the way and I felt so good afterwards. sugs Looking forward to this one. Would like to try and get under my last time (also at Blackpool a few weeks ago). Not being too over confident though. Will see how it goes on the day.
