Ands Good conditions, felt should have done a little better, hills hard, but managed a PB anyway. Blaydon Harriers & AC 57:57 59:02 59:02 59.63
Screeners Did better than last year and its a PB but not sure how! Felt ok for first 4 miles and was on target for 70 mins which is what I was hoping for but the massive hill between miles 4 and 5 just made me get slower and slower. Took 13 mins to do that mile! From mile 5 really ramped it up to try and recover the lost time and felt ok to the last 1/2 mile finish on the grassy walk. Was hoping for a sprint finish but couldn't quite manage it and by the finish I felt like I was going to throw up. But its a better time than last year and considering I'm recovering from shingles I'm pleased with that. Next year I'll try sub-70 mins!! Elswick Harriers 1:07:13 1:12:36 1:12:36 47.04
\J\ Pleased with my time (21/2 mins faster than last year) considering I've struggled the last couple of weeks with hamstring problem. Nice conditions dry, overcast and cool. Lovely run apart from the near mile long hill! Elvet Striders 49:47 49:47 52:13 49:47 60.53

Vicki: Graceless Whippet Had a fantastic race - conditions were so much better than last year. Managed to fly down the hills and only struggled once on the climb up from mile 4. Knocked 10 mins of last years time, and headed home to a well earned Sunday lunch. Jarrow & Hebburn AC 54:05 54:50 59:00 54:50 62.08

Grey Badger DONT BET ON ME. PULLED A CALF MUSCLE. DONT THINK I WILL BE RUNNING. I did run and did better than i could have expected. Took it very easy for first 2 or 3 miles and calf felt ok. It was hurting a bit on the downhill sections later in the race. Great course, one of my favourites and well organised . Northumberland Fell Runners 45:07 47:07 47:30 47:07 69.77
jazz Had a good run, hills did not seem as bad as last year for some reason! Tynedale Harriers & AC 50:34 50:53 50:53 66.55
