Schnecke Turning out for the club, but will not be anywhere near a PB. Update - had a very nice run (even quite enjoyed the hills!) on a lovely evening, overtook a fair number of people and only overtaken a handful of times so feel like I worked hard and deserved all the lovely sarnies, cakes and tea I consumed afterwards! Vicksta Having seen the course, have revised my prediction. Don't like hills, me. Apparently people who have run this before say it is about 2 mins slower than their PBs UPDATE: Tough race, lots of hills, (but the down hill bits were good!) And a one minute PB. Placed first Harlow lady, 11th Lady overall. Was annoyed about being overtaken by a lady in the final 0.2 mile, cos I would have liked to have been top 10! Perfect conditions and excellent sandwich and cake spread afterwards. Harlow RC 44:17 45:31 47:45 45:31 65.81
Vindicator Completely surprised myself here by taking 39 seconds off my PB on a tough course. Climbed the hills well and kept good speed on the downs and flat mid section. Only disapointment if I am being picky is I would have liked to have done the last 2 Km a bit faster. Finished 62nd. Harlow RC 40:21 41:42 43:30 41:42 63.68
