Dad of 3 1st time this has been run. I dont know if I'll do it again because I felt it was a bit dangerous because of car drivers at times. Radcliffe AC 42:32 53:23 53:23 50.11
Sandpitt First race ever, went well though I succumbed to a very painful stitch between 8 and 9k which robbed me of a minute or two.Overall a great race to begin my come back to fitness after years of smoking! Spectrum Striders RC 39:23 42:55 47:01 56.48

PJL Even more determined to go sub-40 this time. Despite how I felt after Wigginton, recent performances at Newlands and an informal 5.2M race suggest I really am capable of it. Cracked it! Thanks for all the messages of encouragement. Hung on for a sub-39.30, after a first half in just over 19min. The drizzle was a welcome cooling factor. Now let's see what I can do in a half marathon! Unaffiliated 37:50 39:29 39:59 39:29 67.09
kerb job paced myself for first 7k but fell behind my target time between 7 and 9k due to a hilly section. storming finish brought me inside my predicted time. felt good at finish as i'm no sprinter, but was passing other runners all the way in the last km. Vale Royal AC 37:37 39:55 40:00 39:55 69.17
fatface Pleased with the time considering I'm too busy even to fart at the moment never mind train. Silky smooth organisation was in evidence again (wouldn't have expected anything less from Spectrum Striders). It decided to rain of course, which is nothing new for this this summer so the finishers prize of a towel came in handy. I'm still a little way off PB territory at the moment but I know that I couldn'thave gone any harder than I did today. Unaffiliated 43:58 48:19 49:59 48:19 58.53
Doctor K PB? probably not due to the 2 motorway bridges but starting to feel good about my running so you never know.
Had a good run and what do you know? A PB ! defo. waiting for the chipp times but my garmin showed 50.34 (and actually 50.14 at 10K -garmin claims it was 10.08km) Those who betted -thanks-you got lucky! Enjoyed the rain too.Put the yellow charity vest on and this run was in memory of Irene Trevorrow who worked at the Roy Castle Foundation and was tragically killed earlier this month. God bless you Irene.
Results just in chip time also 50:34 so a celebratory scotch is in order Bolton United Harriers & AC 49:08 50:14 51:30 50:34 58.26
Barky This is my Garmin time, not the chip time. Excellent marshalling around the course, the race was very well organised. Ok, the route is not the most secnic, but it could be a lot worse!!!! Hermitage Harriers RC 42:47 49:10 54:00 53:30 51.61
