frangale Bliddy hell - that was hot. Awful time - around 1h01 I think, but at least I finished instead of stopping at the 2nd water point like I was very tempted to as I felt v dizzy Beverley AC 55:26 1:01:00 1:01:00 51.29
Hawkins Had serious back trouble leading up to the race, making training almost impossible. Chiropractor enabled me to run and subsequently appeared to sort out my back permanently. Beverley AC 40:03 48:55 1:00:00 59:28 44.39

mikep First trot out since Mablethorpe Marathon in September. Hit by a virus that would not go away and then a broken foot I only managed to get back into training in late January. Finding it tough to have to start from such a low level of fitness and whilst being a stone heavier than usual. This run gives me a target to aim for.

Vicky Fingers crossed for this one. I was very disappointed last year, must do better!

Actual- It was so very hot! Disappointed again with time, I gave it everything, considering the conditions I was in control of the hills which I wasnt last year. Unaffiliated 1:01:54 1:03:18 1:03:00 1:07:10 44.73
WACA HOT! 28C at the finish and prob 23-24C out on the course. Thankfully a breeze on our way back into town helped, otherwise I was melting quite badly. Felt good all the way round and kept a reasonably consistent pace, often wanted to slow down but managed not to and keep going, was very pleased. Tough finish through town, kept anticipating the finish early and was twice dissppointed, finally catching my breath and pushing through. Terrific effort from several Pock runners, always great to be with them. Well done everyone. http://www.pockrunners.com/images/gallery/beverley_10k_08/index.htm Pocklington Runners, Civil Service Runners & Riders 38:00 40:19 41:00 40:19 67.47
WeebleNana (Watch time). Undulations not too bad, but a very warm day so I struggled a bit. Nice race though. York Knavesmire Harriers 49:18 56:08 1:05:00 1:02:15 50.63
