Matt the Brum Another great Beachy Head Marathon. Felt comfortable by the top of the first climb so pushed on. Nobody came with me (bit worrying) so just kept going. Hard work to keep it up over the second half of the course, plus feet were getting quite sore. Was expecting a trail of runners to overtake me but no one appeared. Had a very warm welcome coming down the final hill first. Had a chat with the organisers and mayor and also got interviewed on the local live radio.
Hope to be back next year. Stourbridge RC 2:33:06 2:33:06 3:00:00 67.53

southdownswolf this is a tough event. still, managed to be only 15 mins off my flat marathon pb, so pleased overall. can't wait to do a few more mara's and maybe an ultra next year in preparation for this again!
