Pathtower Bath Half, weather cool at start with a slight breeze but pretty good when out on the course. 6.33, 6.45, 6.37, 7.09, 6.51, 7.07, 10k split 42.36, 7.06, 7.04, 7.20, 6.54, 10 mile split 69.29, 7.11, 6.45, 7.34 (1.1mile). theraithrover Very pleased with PB considering race strategy! 1st mile 6:40; 13th mile 7:51 with all but one of the miles in between, slower than the previous one. Considering 2010 was a min slower (PB at the time) and all 13 miles spanned a range of 15secs I'm beginning to wonder if all the theory about pace is overhype. CaptainDad Revising the time. Hopefully, I'll get a Bath course best. So need to go under 1hr 40mins Got the course best. Still think the start of the race could be a lot better. Everyone is all mixed up and the first 2 miles were jam packed. The organisors just do not seem able to get everyone to the start.
