Caniggia33 too hot too hilly too early in the year and too painful when knee and ankle went futt about half way. Not wildly disheartened inspite of a pretty bad day at the office. Still better than Rotterdam last year. On upside my very bad days are 30+ mins better than last eyars shockers. Unaffiliated 3:06:53 3:06:53 3:15:00 3:29:08 58.79

Steiny Training has went really well.Looking to improve on previous marathon pb.Post race.Well, what can I say the course was great and well supported throughout. No major hills and plenty waterstops.Busy start but dont think that slowed me up too much as still on target for 3.15 time at 20 mile. Then really started to feel the effects of the Barcelona sun(Dont think the Scottish Winter trainining had really prepared me for 26c)However well done to Carnegie team mate Paul H for breaking the 4 hours for the first time.Excellent race weekend for the 4 of us from Carnegie Harriers who took part and we would all recommend the race to anyone looking to take part in a big city marathon.
