andy69dude WOOHOO! hammered the 1:20 mark :D had a great run until 10miles when my legs just gave in and I had no choise but to slow the pase down and with the strong head wind it makes the time all the more sweeter. Looking forward to my next one god know when that will be though??? Greenock Glenpark Harriers 1:15:48 1:15:48 1:15:00 1:15:48 76.48

ChrisU Got well under the 1:20 mark to clock a PB by 2 minutes. Pleased with the run, but found the persistent headwind hard work. Cambuslang Harriers, Westerlands Cross Country Club, Scottish Veteran Harriers Club 1:16:45 1:16:45 1:18:00 1:18:17 78.23

jp105 Watch time, pleased with my run today as this was my first half in quite a few months and I was unsure how I would do over the long distance. Would have been closer to P.B if it wasn't as windy. Started off quite quick, then slowed around 6 miles then built back into it for the final 3 miles.
2 strong runs in 2 days so very pleased but sadly no P.B's.
I'll be fresh for Alloa next week though. Carnegie Harriers 1:14:59 1:14:59 1:17:50 74.49

Quadbarrel Delighted to get under 1:30 after a 6 week injury break. Not the most scenic route and swirling winds didn't help, but happy overall. Well done to ChrisU - brilliant time. Cambuslang Harriers 1:20:16 1:29:40 1:30:00 1:29:40 65.24

Selfish Git!!! Well , I predicted 1:35 and got 1:35:52...... Not particularly good but not unexpected (over 6 mins off my best) .... windy (head/cross wind for the first half until Old Kilpatrick then a tail wind ) temperature ok about 8 degrees C.... got it in my head that my cycling is detrimental to my running but its probably because i've not run for 10 days. But got another Half next Saturday. Greenock Glenpark Harriers 1:29:28 1:35:52 1:35:00 1:35:52 64.41
The Belly Is Gaun Tae Get Ye Don't waste your bets. This will be run at MP only i.e 8 min / mile as a practice.

As daft as it maybe I ran too fast, started at the back and tried to keep to pace, but always seemed 20 secs too fast.
Lack of dicipline combined with a fast course and lack of mile markers in the middle done for me even tho I kept holding back. At 12.5 miles realised I was way too fast and did a quick calculation and realised that I could post a PB so I went for it. Ride 63 1:30:59 1:40:10 1:45:00 1:40:10 59.29
Yano Hadn't done much training for this so pleased with the time. Hill out of Bowling much easier than I remember from 2 years ago. Well organised race, credit to all the marshalls. Unaffiliated 1:29:45 1:29:45 1:42:00 1:40:10 58.05
