Missjanice i was so scared to do this race as i was not train to do fell run, i was so worried im gonna be the last ladies but 7th ladies is not bad at all. I will do this race again ... but would not accept a glass from tesco as a price lol Stragglers 1:32:55 1:32:55 1:32:55 52.42
Nick the Geek Enjoyed the run, started near the back and stayed there throughout! Most of the race was on fairly hard-packed trails which left my feet a bit sore by the end, and I turned an ankle descending through the heather but it wasn't bad enough to slow me down (just as well or I'd have stopped completely!) northernrunner started off good in 5th position and by about 6 or 7k got into 4th place and by about 9k was in 3rd place but at about 14k took a wrong turn and went the wrong way so ended up doing 19.5k instead of the 16k race and instead of finishing in 3rd was about 38th. 2 other people made the same mistake.
