Auld Toun 10K Road Race, Dunfermline

Entrants (22) Club PB SB Pred Time WAVA
Debstir Totally chuffed to bits with this race tonight. 51mins is a good time for me on a good course, so on this one it's a belter!! I love this race even though I hate it at the time, it's an absolute gem of a 10k. Organisation is spot-on and it's so friendly. My Garmin measured 6.48m; I don't know what my time would have been at 6.2m but I don't really care! I'm just really pleased with what I got even if it isn't a PB. Good to see magoo and baza, who both ran really well. I'm going to recommend this race is included in our club's championship calendar for next year - it's too good to miss out :-) Unaffiliated 48:30 49:48 51:50 57.96

Dave_K WOW ! Not sure how this PB came about. Really enjoyed the race. As usual a well organised event with great support. Was worried beforehand about the hills but must be getting fitter ! Now looking forward to the 1/2 marathon at the end of the month Unaffiliated 45:32 47:43 48:43 56.68
Ticketyboo Shockarooney!!! Very unexpected PB on a tough course. Perfect conditions for racing tonight and I can understand what Debstir means when she says she hates the course but loves it. The hills are a killer but the race is very well organised. Cumbernauld AAC, Scottish Veteran Harriers Club 33:50 37:24 37:52 69.95
jp105 Very well organised race by my club. Enjoyed the course although it was pretty tough. Pleased with my time after a long race at the weekend. Team prize, some chocolate and Red Bull! Excellent! Carnegie Harriers 35:21 35:37 35:50 73.67
Plussing As Which Brilliantly organised race (well done, all invovled) but it certainly is a tough course! Really pleased to scrape in under 40mins (for only the 2nd time ever!), knocking about 4 mins off last year's time. Home crowd support was excellent and it was great to see so many Carnegie runners doing so well. Thanks to Kenny who pulled me along for most of the 2nd half as my legs turned to lead! 4th lady and part of 1st team along with Carnegie Lass. Unaffiliated 38:14 38:14 39:52 75.36
Steiny Very testing course.Legs didn't feel my own.Basically haven't recovered from Stuc o 'Chroin. However still improved on last year. And it would have been wrong of me to expect 3 pb's in 5 days! Carnegie Harriers 41:22 42:00 42:00 63.69

Baza Anything under 40 minutes will suit me fine.*update* V happy with the run tonight, not an easy run with the amount of hills etc so 39:10 was a perfect end to the evening. Very well organised as usual and it was also a counter in my clubs championship again this year, although I've a funny feeling i may have been pipped to 2nd Senior for the club tonight. I think a lot of folk had good runs tonight including Magoo & Debstir...well done folks Carnegie Harriers 36:28 36:54 39:30 39:10 67.43

Supervixen ue to the anticipated hills dont expecting a PB. Update: watch time given, deligthed with the unexpected PB, despite the course. A well organised event, as always. Sort of enjoyed the run!!?? If you know what I mean, friendly runners and spectators, looking forward to the half marathon. Unaffiliated 53:41 53:41 58:00 54:55 55.61
