NZC This will be a hard x-country race - haven't done it before but should be fun. It actually ended up being 6km though it was the longest,hardest 6km I've ever race. Set at Bethells Beach - run on sand dunes, through streams, along tracks, up a huge cliff and along the beach, finishing at the surf club. The wind was so strong in the exposed places - making it even more difficult. The race itself was pretty low-key - battled hard for 2nd vet woman placing - 1st VW55. Distance and time irrelevant.
