MumOnTheRun glorious day for a run. Weather couldn't have been better. Stuck with 9m/m pacer until about 11m and then picked it up a bit. That's it now - tapering for FLM begins! Unaffiliated 2:20:57 2:20:57 2:20:57 58.72

anne23 Why not? Nice route round places I used to know. Done a 16.5 mile training run now so I know I should be able to cope with the distance. Decision made: 10mm with a sprint finish at the end if by some miracle I can manage it. Unaffiliated 2:02:12 2:26:18 2:39:17 2:26:18 54.54

Footpad Oh wow! I ran it in negative splits: 1.15 & 1.11 was good fun!! Now the FLM had better watch out :-) Unaffiliated 2:21:27 2:26:25 3:00:00 2:26:25 51.34

John66 16m - frightening. Anyone want to pace me to a 3hr finish?

Cormorant It seemed like a very early morning when we left but it was worth it for a well-organized race round a nice flat route. I feel off the pace for the FLM and so was really grateful for the support from other runners as I flagged in the last miles. I'm just sorry Gray aggravated his calf injury and pulled out two miles in. Cranleigh Tortoise & Hare Runners 2:12:19 2:12:19 2:06:00 2:12:19 61.31

Debster training run for FLM 08. Pleased with result as started off with 11 min milers then speeded up. Feel like sub 4.45 is a realistic target now! Serpentine RC 2:44:41 2:44:41 2:48:00 2:44:41 49.41

Cazros Perhaps not as enjoyable as other times I've done this race - it was a bit too crowded and when the race is run along footpaths with reduced overtaking possibilities, this is a bit of a problem. Also pretty wet along the towpath, which again didn't help. For me though, a perfect race and real confidence builder for FLM - pacing, fuelling, everything went really well and finished feeling strong and (i hope) capable of another 10 miles! Finish area, goodies etc were, as always, very well organised.... Serpentine RC 2:11:55 2:16:44 2:16:44 58.36
