MAD Superman 2m out over the A42 then 2 x 8m laps and back to the start. A rolling hilly course in perfect conditions. Had to work hard over the last 4m but maintained a good pace and got a 2min pb so have to be pleased. ironman the most boring of races. but i do it every year! love the sweat shirt. two laps usually cold with minimal support on route and no i-pod. getting ready for edinburgh marathon and ironman france so gotta do it. Hampton FANTASTIC!!! Absolutely delighted with the perfect Blackpool preparation. Ran it very sensibly in a negative split and was passing lots of runners in the latter miles.
