Hanneke Damn! That was awful. It was so very cold, my calves froze at about 27k, before which I was well on target for 3.50. Calves triggered off ITBS that stopped me from running because my right knee would not bend by about 32k. Had to walk the last 10k to at least get a medal. Screwed up for running now for months. Keefy Beefy A PB by 13:58! Went off fast and paid for it in the last 10 kms. Top medal but course was suprisingly dull and quiet. Would do again only if proximity was good. Average pace: 5:11/km or 8:22/mile. Unaffiliated 3:15:38 3:39:04 3:45:00 3:39:04 56.12
