jumpingjen Looking forward to trying out the revised course after a few years gap since last running this race. Hope it lives up to my memories & we don't get the snow/strong winds that we had in 2007! Edinburgh Athletic Club 1:17:07 1:17:07 1:20:00 1:18:20 83.39

briandarroch My achilles was sore after only a few miles which steadily got worse especially when climbing hills. I was still on schedule for my predicited time after 10 miles but I lost a couple of mins to the finish. Hopefully being tired towards the end might partially be down to my cold which has been lingering for a month! Kilmarnock Harriers & AC, scottish athletics 1:34:47 1:42:01 1:40:00 1:42:27 57.97

SooWoo haven't run a half as fast for 18months so very pleased, especially as I was really treating this as just part of Brighton Marathon training so would have been happy with breaking 1hr50 (must have been the pressure of someone putting a bet on me - never had that before!!! - cheers Hyperboy!) hillgirl Was a really nice day for it. Although at first it looked like it may be heavy rain, it stayed mainly dry. There was also very little wind, which was good, because otherwise the long stretch along the foothills can be a real trial. The hills in this race are a real test and this was definitely hard work this morning. Falkirk Victoria Harriers 1:47:18 1:48:18 1:48:18 63.87
RunDMc First run of more than 8 miles since Glasgow HM, so can't complain. Conditions perfect; great support all the way around and a well-organsied event as always. Felt good today but I must get some more miles in the old legs. Unaffiliated 1:47:59 1:52:29 1:45:00 1:52:29 51.54

gilly b Slightly faster than last week on a tougher (more undulating) route. Would have liked to have got under 1:50 but the couple of hills after 10 miles put a stop to that! oh, and the lack of long runs ... Good race, ideal weather and lots of support - almost made it enjoyable! :-)
