Bolt Got to be off fast to get into the woods early. Then it's 'hang-on' to recover for a few miles...then steady nerves for final push in the field at the end. Got 70th last year in dry conditions. This year it's going to be VERY muddy underfoot. Spikes a must in my view...only one limited section that could be classed as tarmac. Thrilled with outcome - nearly 4 minutes faster than 2008 and even though only 8 places made up (finished 62nd!) I am getting closer to breaking into Top 60. themookid No pressure today due to knowing I wasnt fit for a good run so purely went to get round. Went off quick enough to get into the woods without trouble. VERY muddy as usual all the way through the woods good and boggy in many places. Lots of guys coming past throughout but I was enjoying the run. Hit the gas coming out of the woods put couldnt put much power down on the soggy field. 56th overall and 7th Harwich. As well as I could have expected today but would have loved to have been 20 places up the field!! Unaffiliated 31:20 32:46 36:03 58.54
