themookid Woo! Great last xc of the season. Bloody hard work in awful conditions - cold cold wet and wind. Ran a much more even race. Started as quick as usual and felt able to keep it up throughout - didnt get the usual 15 guys passing me over the last mile. Battled it out in a small group of 5 of us over last couple of miles and actually managed to leave them behind up the big climb taking 2 more around the final field. 49th overall (ok so there were only 131 finishers but hey... TOP 50!). 5th club finisher beating PC for first time. Bring on the roads! Unaffiliated 31:20 31:20 33:31 62.85
