Bourton Roadrunners Club wishes to thank everyone who made the 2024 Highbridge Jewellers’ 10k race a success, including all the participants, our sponsors, marshals and the many other helpers. We are also extremely grateful for the patience of local residents and businesses for any inconvenience incurred.

Our congratulations go to Ed Banks of Birchfield Harriers, the overall race winner, and to Gemma Kersey of Basildon AC, the first woman.

We were proud to be supporting Cure Parkinsons (a registered charity in England and Wales (1111816) and Scotland (SCO44368)), as our principal charity partner throughout 2024. Bourton Roadrunners Club will contribute to the charity from the race proceeds; however, if you would like to support it personally in their valuable work you may dononate via Race Nation’s secure webpage . All donations are gratefully received. Additionally, we are also supporting local charities Headspace (registered charity: 1189822) and Kate’s Home Nursing (registered charity 1203159).

Our road race licence for this event, issued by UK Athletics, is 2024-47296, a copy of which may be downloaded, and will be on display at the Race HQ.
The England Athletics Certificate of Course Accuracy (i.e. course measure certificate) may also be downloaded, and will be available for inspection at the Race HQ.

Ed Banks of Birchfield Harriers was the race winner in 31:32
Gemma Kirsey of Basildon AC, first woman at the Bourton 10k in a time of 34:28.
Wheelchair racer Les Hampton from Cheltenham & County Harriers provided an inspiring performance finishing in 46:39.
Special thanks go to Neil Teague who led the 2024 competitors around the course on his bicycle.
