This year we have decided that the revised route, most recently forced upon us due to erosion, will become our permanent course for the foreseeable future. In recognition of this we have reset the course records based upon times recorded over the previous two years on the new course. There is now a real incentive for you to come along and set a new record for the course.

The race itself is nearly all off road, following alongside the beautiful River Dart. It starts and finishes on Borough Park and uses the Totnes Leisure Centre as its Race HQ. Where there are plenty of toilets (including extra portaloos), showers and changing facilities.

Entry to the race has been left unchanged at £16 affiliated and £18 unattached.

Please enter early as there is a strict race limit of 625 and in recent years the race has mostly been sold out well in advance.

All finishers receive a bespoke medal.

Again we are offering an extensive list of prizes. There are awards for the first 5 males and female finishers. We also offer prizes to the 1st and 2nd  M&F in each vet category (every 5 years) up to 70. We also have an U18 category and prizes for the first two men's teams (6 to count) and ladies's teams (4 to count). Presentations will take place at 12.45pm.

Please note that headphones are not permitted and anyone caught wearing them during the race will be disqualified!

We are proud to continue our relationship with Totnes Caring who have supported the race for a number of years. Totnes Caring is a local charity doing fantastic work benefitting the elderly in Totnes. During our association with this charity the race has raised over £28,000 in support of their work.

Refreshments will be available, a feature of which is our renowned Trotter cakes. If the weather permits, then we will have a BBQ, selling hot dogs, burgers and bacon baps. 

There is a bag drop on-site and we will have medical cover in attendance. We will have a professional PA system with live race commentary.

We will once again be staging a 1-mile Fun Run around the perimeter of Borough Park starting at 10.15am. The race is always popular and provides an opportunity to complete a safe, measured 1-mile course. Prizes for 1st & 2nd M/F U6, U9, U12 & U15 - Bespoke Totnes medal and chocolate for all finishers. Entry fee; £3.50 in advance (online entry) £5.00 on the day (cash only).

You will be emailed a race information pack closer to the big day. Race numbers to be collected from the leisure centre on the day.

We will only accept number transfers on the day of the race. Please come to Race HQ where there will be a transfer form for you to fill in. Please note there will be an administration charge of £3 per transfer.
