Strutbrother: Hiya, I've been thinking about getting a pair of these, what's your opinion of them?

Pegg: I like them! Great on the snowy and slippery bits. A bit tap dance-y on the tarmac where people had cleared the paths. They stayed put, didn't feel too heavy, and I stayed upright. They get my vote :-)

KimCanRun: I've not long bought a pair after they were recommended on the 700 thread. Not used them yet. Would they be ok on thin layer of snow? Or be tap dancey?

Pegg: We had 2-3inches but even on the slushy stuff they were good. It was just when there was nothing I was being careful not to go over on them. A thin layer of snow should be okay though.

Scibs: I have been using these for a couple of years now and really rate them! As Pegg says they are a bit dodgy on cleared paths but a coating of snow of an inch or so and they are great! They perform even better on ice - perfect grip! I just wish we had enough snow in East Anglia to use them, we just seem to have slippery pavements first thing in the morning!
