That's so weird. I just logged on to fetch and thought 'I'll check the pregnancy thread - Lise is due to be pregnant soon'

Fantastic news on both fronts. Congratulations. How are you feeling or is it too early to feel any different yet?

I'm also very glad not to be the only pregnant person on this thread! It's been so quiet on here recently. I'm eighteen weeks tomorrow. Definitely got more energy now, which is just as well with a toddler on the loose.

When are you due Lise?

Thanks :)

Hahaha thats so funny lambkin, i often think about you as we were trying at the same time. Well i had been feeling a bit off the last week, not ill but weird, then 2 days ago my resting heart rate just jumped and stayed in 60's instead of the high 40s/ low 50s which i thought was really odd. Maybe that explains it. Still doesn't seem real so going to double check again tonight when i get home :)

Not going to lie, all of a sudden I'm scared now hahaha, seemed like a good idea at the time!!

The calculators say due 19th August :) Which is typical seen as i just paid for great Aberdeen run, Great North run and my accomodation hahahaha.....i think 2 half marathons a week and 3 weeks after having a baby might not be realistic.......

Wow 18 weeks already, its scary how quickly that time has went :) I'll be able to pick your brain on allm the exciting stuff :) xx

I love the double checking. With my first pregnancy, I took about six tests.

It's definitely sods law that you have signed up for a load of races around your due date. I remember thinking 'bah, my running was just improving again' when I got a positive test, though obviously I was pleased. Is it too early for symptoms (heart rate aside) or are you noticing any changes yet?

The fear is normal. I'm told it wears off when they leave home...

Hahaha i think i stopped at 5!!

Yeah feel a bit bad as my friend has entered and paid for accommodation at Great north Run based on me doing it so i may have to give him a wee refund. Hahaa im totally mirroring you, my running was just getting going again. I stopped a run at 3miles on Friday, heart rate was going really high on minimal effort and today its going into the 100s just walking about, maybe ive got a bug as well. Nothing really noticable yet, 1 sore boob and a wee bit crampy.

Hahaha!!! Still got the fear, not phoned docs yet, weirdly scared to , i'll do it this week :)

Mave
Is there a running after pregnancy thread? Mini-Mave is 5 weeks old and I'm starting to get twitchy. Hoping to start running again in the New Year.
