There was a film on Sky Arts last Sunday about The Kinks Are The Village Green Preservation Society. sky.com 'Wicked Annabella' featured, Mousey. I've been a huge Kinks fan since 1964/5 but hadn't realised what a slow burner this album was. Ray seemed reflective, almost maudlin at times, while Dave was upbeat and very praiseworthy of his brother.
