V sensible kids Meglet. I think the moving between parents thing is not a good idea. Must be hard Rich, missing your wean. Are you on your own then at the mo'? Hann - that sounds v organised. Absence will make the heart grow fonder.  Does he work in a hospital?

RS it is pants, but we have to do it. I just think of my dad who does not remember his father before he was 9 years old or so because of the war so a few weeks or months of this with phones and social media should be manageable. I'm still at work so plenty of seeing people. Off and on woman is definitely in the on position and had been for a while now, at the moment I'm staying with her to ease the burden of this sh"t. |

Hann he can be quite annoying. I’m not sure if I told you he’s walked into my surgery twice recently (when I didn’t have patient) and blasted me for decisions I’d made regarding keeping people safe from Covid. Apparently it was confusing the staff because it was different from his patient. I checked with them, they were fine. 🙄 Anyway, his ‘big project’ to spend squillions renovating his house has hit another impasse. Having had to pause work when he ran out of money and lost a load more when the window company went bust, he’s recently restarted but now has to stop again, just before the windows are due to be delivered! I’m not sniggering, you are. |

At least he’s no longer living with his parents, he’s renting a house from some friends. But if his partners son is there it means daughter 1 doesn’t have a room.

I'm just with me, but mostly ok with that. Miniphook visits 2 or 3 times a week (we thought long and hard about whether to meet up, but decided on yes), and I've a decent amount of friends to chat with when needed. And a bottle of whisky. Working from home, although off on leave today. My garden had never been tidier. |
