Meg there may have been some snogging today ;)

Had an amazing time, didn't leave till 8 pm! Coffee, bike ride, he cooked us a lovely meal and before we knew it it was dark! We are both happy with the pace in which things are developing: we are not rushing! He is a great communicator and we have the same views on life plus a lot of overlap on hobbies and interests. Next weekend his kids are coming to stay (in their twenties) as it is hos birthday next Tuesday. He invited me along a few weeks ago to a concert (classical this time), to join them. It is being extended to a meal out before the concert as well now. And we are playing, together with a cellist friend of his, at open mic on his actual birthday :-o He insists I have to join in :-o Next thing we know I will start playing my cello again. He is very encouraging!

RS Niwaki do several different pruning saws, including the Silky I have. It has a curved blade and quite wide teeth. This makes it suitable for bigger branches. I also have a Bakuna Hunter from Niwaki. It is a smaller, straight, foldable pruning saw I carry around in my holster with my secateurs. It actually is a very capable saw even for bigger stuff. Have a look at the Niwaki site as Jake has a good video demonstrating it. They both do different things and I have both because it is my living. For personal use, the Bakuna would be sufficient. I happily pollarded a willow with it the other day.

Ah - I nearly said drummer but wasn't sure.

I like the look a smaller more portable pruning saw BTW and had thought about the Bakuna Hunter so will watch the demo. I was up a tree, pruning, and a guy passed me his small portable one and it did the job on a sizeable branch.

BTW also, I haven't see Adventure Man for a while. Just about to request my shifts on the rota where we both occasionally work.
