I am with Phook, in this country, funerals are arranged in advance. In the Netherlands not so much! And as for the sick dog, you can catch him out. If the dog wasn't sick, he will forget about the excuse and look surprised when you ask after its health...

I'm a massive sceptic so I'd be suspicious. I wonder why I'm single?

To be honest, when he didn’t contact this morning I was all ready to tell him where to go. He’s apologised but not exactly profusely. I was quite blunt and said second chances are in short supply on the dating scene 😂 I am feeling a bit fed up. Last guy I dated-went weird and stopped contacting Guy from running club-gone back to his GF Friend in London-no longer texts daily as he’s having an affair with a married work colleague Dating site-useless Best recent prospect-hooked up with my younger slimmer friend who knew I liked him too |

I can see how he could have known about the funeral in advance, but thought he'd be back in time for the date so no need to mention it before. If he was relying on public transport to get back from the funeral that could easily have taken longer than planned, especially at the weekend. How did the sick dog cause a change of plans? |

He was driving back from London this morning and appaohad a bad journey. He may have had a change of plan as I’d thought he was coming back yesterday. It was him that suggested 12pm instead of 2pm when we first set it up. I don’t know if he only discovered the sick dog when he got back or it was just another thing that added to stress. |

Or a reason for not being able to meet up for a drink in the afternoon... Which you or even he might have suggested... I also wonder why I am single! |

OMFG! I decided to take a peak on GSM. Not only is NT man back, that totally useless bloke I dated twice is back AND as soon as the page opened with new arrivals, as it does when you log in, top left was... Valleys Man, i.e. the psychopathic child psychotherapist |

Also, how come, if I have my profile hidden, have it been viewed by endless streams of 'new' people since I last looked?????

I came across this on the BBC. It may be of interest, but what do you think of it? bbc.co.uk |

Assuming that’s the link about dating and mental health? Interesting, and certainly can have an effect.
