Not flat, more undulating HF. 29 miles is 46 kms, right? I should be able to still average 23 km/hr, even though I am unfit these days... especially if I don't bimble.

It is 8 miles, I am not planning a picnic. I have suggested we meet at 2 pm, so if we are enjoying each other's company, I can suggest he stays for some simple food from the garden for an early supper...

I go in the opposite direction from the author, much nicer to climb up through the valley, of Owen Sheers Resistance fame, then almost turn back on yourself over the moor, then the hill narrows and narrows and narrows... and you get 360 degree views and feel on top of the world :)

Decent weather is key...

I have been stressing about this morning, showing vegetables and eggs at the local village show :) Weather is dry, with a couple of short showers, phew! As the show tends to get totally washed out. Bought a lovely dark sedum from my friend up the road, who has an organic nursery, must support each other :)

It was a bit sad, having only three lots of eggs to show. The olive and blue egg layiung chooks having been killed two weeks ago, I no longer have any of their eggs :(
