Holidays now - how on earth do we fill 2 weeks???
We are going to camp in the garden tonight so some time this after will be putting up the tent.
Need to make some cakes today as well as we’ve just finished last weeks brownies.

We have done some school work today, same deal as last week though, a bit of writing and a bit of multiplication. They have played in the garden a lot - thank goodness for the weather being nice. And they watched a film this morning. I think I need a day off and so I may decide to have a duvet day tomorrow.

How is everyone doing?

We seem to have settled down here, although some days are accompanied by a lot of mithering.

We love the maddie videos, our school has a fb live story every day and something else too.

We’re not doing any work this week as he knows it’s holiday week. We are making him read each day and do 15 minutes touch typing but that and a bike ride is all for this week. He’s helped with house work and gardening, done a bit of baking and painting eggs, family board games and pretty much all the rest of the time has been video games and Netflix.
I don’t have the energy to force anything else!!

We're doing some fun activities from school but not much. They've all asked if they can do some learning today, so technically they are.

We're on the second week of the Easter holidays and this week my wife's on holiday from work. Decided we needed to keep our routine as "normal" as possible so we're sticking to term times etc. We would usually spend the Easter holidays at home doing garden work etc so we're not too badly affected. The only thing we're missing is the Scout camp that had to be cancelled a couple of weekends ago.
