Non-runner
Being retired, introverted, no car and hating flying and hot sun, my life under lockdown is pretty much as it was before, in fact, I am even enjoying my once a week social distance shop. How sad is that? I need to get a life😂.

That’s a perfectly fine life non-runner. Maybe not for everyone but certainly for some :-)

I too am happy with my own company and not missing social interaction much. I can chat a bit on line but not going out is not that bad so long as I can get a run in. Ideally I'd do a walk in addition to a run but that is a small sacrifice. I used to spend a lot of time socialising the dog in coffee shops and shops which I can't do now but that was interaction with the dog that I enjoy not the people around me. Life is much simpler with an empty diary and no plans

I'm quite happy following the rules as they are. One run every two days. A walk in between when I feel like it, often on the phone to relatives/friends. OH doing the shopping (he seems to need the interaction more than me). I could happily do this for quite some time.

Might be nice/different when I don't have to get so much work done at the same time.

My brother is really struggling with it. More extrovert, no work, small apartment in London with a heavily pregnant wife is a completely different kettle of fish. I'll be glad when it's over for his sake.

8 cyclists with their mounts propped against railings on Crosby prom last night, admiring the sunset...together.

I'm OK generally with the rules. I miss the gym and zumba, but am enjoying more outdoor running (which TBH I'd be doing anyway as the weather's improving). I like not having to go to London every week or so for work (which totally wipes me out) and was working mostly from home anyway, so that's not a big change. I like that Mr RB has suddenly come over all domesticated. I find shopping quite stressful as that's where I think I'm most likely to pick up the virus, but Mr RB is doing the next trip. I'm curious to see what he buys as this isn't something that's normally his department.

A bit of a massive own-goal up here in Scotland. The Chief Medical Officer, who stands beside Sturgeon every day at press conference, imploring people to stay home and not travel unless absolutely necessary, pictured out and about with her family at her holiday home in Fife yesterday.

I mean, between her, and Charles and Camilla thinking it's ok to jolly up to Balmoral from London, what hope do they have getting the masses to comply if that's the examples being set.

I bet Sturgeon is livid !!

Resignation at this time probably doesn't achieve much - she's apologised but her judgement seems to have been flawed in doing what she did.
