I did a 70 mile ride to Norwich about 10 days ago and just caught the train home with 5 minutes to spare! Managed to do 50 miles before a proper cafe stop so that's a good improvement. Tempos on Tuesday were not great, with several sets of temporary traffic lights causing havoc. To get round the wind forecast (40+mph) for tomorrow's morning bike commute, I'm driving partway then cycling a reduced distance in. The wind should have dropped for the way back, so I'll do a long way back to the car. It's supposed to be 2 x 20 min sweetspot but we'll see! On Saturday, doing my first Audax, around 110k with 900m climbing (a lot for round here!). Its meant to be windy again but hopefully mostly behind us.
