Enjoy the ride, everyone! I hope the sun shines, the feed stations are bountiful, and the puncture pixie stays away.

2leftpedals enjoyed the ride. Wouldn't do it again due to the sheer hassle of the logistics but was a good day out.

We went to see the pros ride through West Byfleet a few hours ago. Took the motorbike, got there with plenty of time, then everyone passed through very quickly!!

Done. Made it up Leith Hill before it closed but they were coming through by the time we got to the bottom so it was very busy. Sadly Box Hill was shut, I think I only missed it by 5 mins. Had a great day but did have a series of holdups and walking sections which was quite frustrating, but at least I’m in one piece unlike, presumably, the people who caused the stoppages

Made it. I missed Leigh (closed due to accident) but did box. Hi to the Fetchie I met part way up... I wanted to stop but if I did I would have toppled over!

Frustrating number of accidents and walking sections. The accident at Kingston looked nasty.

I didn't get a medal. I'm stupidly disappointed at this.

Form the other side it was relatively incident free, compared with previous years. It would seem the earlier incidents prevented the normal late overcrowding on the Leith Hill loop, which tends to cause a lot of stop/start due to sheer numbers

Were any fetchies in the last 1000 or so riders who were offered a 5 mile short cut before Leith Hill? Only 6 takers, but I think they avoided the standstill and potentially missing out Box Hill

All done as MM said met just before Harrods, got all the hills in, did see a few casualty's, 100 wasn't to busy, got congested once we rejioned the 46, poorly marshalled crossings meant had to stop 3 times Kingston, Raynes Park and Wimbledon, official time 5-15

Well done on the classics medal. I need to decide if I want a medal enough to improve my swimming!

The stop/start and walking was frustrating especially as I had two lots before Newlands. I’d still do it again.

I did hear the guy offering the shortcut of Leith Hill but there weren’t many takers.

I think the stop/start is inevitable given the numbers and the style some choose to ride with, I saw lots of near misses, but thankfully a lot less calls of 'on your right', where 'right' is basically the verge.

That guy was me Meglet ;), it just seemed we'd been too lucky with Leith Hill traffic behaving itself too well for most of the day, and time was running short to get up and over Box Hill too...
