Well that didn't happen for me did it.

Intended to bosh out a 60% Rutland parkrun which is 24 something mins. then continue to do a long run.

Slept very poorly last night, got up late, forgot to take running food with us left it in the car and felt not great so binned the 60%.

But we did get the long run done nice and slow.

Will be seriously giving some beanz on Wednesday evening which is the 8th and final round of the East Midlands Grandprix series at Silverstone.

Hopefully.

Awaiting Stu's news. Hope it's better.

61.27% at parkrun this morning, down fractionally than last week even though it felt faster.

Nope.

I did indeed give it all the beanz I had. Was considering giving up from halfway because it hurt, but I persevered. 20 seconds slower than last week but in my defence Woking is considerably more twisty than Mansfield.

59.09%

I'll keep plugging away.

Tonight is the last night of a series of 8 races in Northamptonshire. Silverstone 10k.

Hoping to bang in a final 60 precenter see how it goes.

Currently gusty winds at home Silverstone is a devil for winds so we shall see.

Pleased to report that with a time of 47 something or other I’ve posted by best WAVA of 65.11%.
I put this down solely to core strength work of dismantling and constructing two garden pergolas in the last month.
