Not sure about that one then. I was in blue when I had my running club's one and only place a few years ago.

Jono.
afternoon Fetchlings bit of a trial this weekend - see how the hamstring would stand up to consecutive running days. 4 miles yesterday and a big 6 miles this morning - slight ache, now that I'm sitting down and waiting to drink beer. next run wednesday |

Well done Doc. Did a half marathon today that I’d entered before getting injured and which was originally a target race. As the recovery has been going well and I’ve been building the distances up, I’d decided to do it as a training run, and, after doing the first mile quicker than I’d intended, decided I’d join a few club mates who were pacing a couple of others to sub 2. When we got to 8 miles one of our group was starting to struggle, so I decided to drop back and stick with him. Unfortunately by mile 9 he was really struggling - partly physically but mostly mentally - and every so often he had stop and walk briefly, so it ended up being 2:05. It’s a shame, as I know he’s capable of sub-2, but I think it’s just a bit of a psychological barrier at the moment. |

Argh, sorry Doc, I meant to add these when you asked the other day but got distracted at work! Done now! We may be doing the Yorkshire 10 mile as well, just need to check it doesn’t clash with anything else. |
