Hugs, coachie x Work-wise, it was a day of spreadsheets and conference calls. I walked the long way round to the village shop at lunchtime and have just got back from a run to my friend's farm, a cuddle with the dogs and the horses and a run back. I'm hoping to get loads more exercise done with this enforced home-working. Have done OK food-wise too |

How is your Tuesdays? Just finished work, been a very long day here The news last night shocked us both and made us reflect and really think about what we ought to do, my neighbour has been ordered into 12 weeks locked inside not even allowed into her garden and only one window open as her little girl 6 had glandula fever so is high risk, my hairdresser also stuck and no earnings.. so many different and difficult stories and so many still at work.. so after a rubbish sleep I got my can head on Northern will tell you I can be focused and stuborn and rarely (although we will always have “that” yorkyman where I was all for pulling out at the water stop) give up that easy So, I have been very pro active today and sharing love around in small acts to those I can help Took shopping to hairdresser, went to the office sorted final bits as we go into 3 weeks lockdown, filled the car up (with a plastic glove on). Took some stuff to one of my team so she can stay home. Did a small shop. “Borrowed a couple of loo rolls just in case next door needs any and did a small shop mindful of others who will need to buy too came home checked in with my neighbour and worked Had lunch at 3pm which was a run around empty town and then to see a friend and her little girl, literally to wave and a quick very far apart chat was ace! |

I bet it was a real nice day staying put and chilling out, well deserved Yeah was fine today. A couple of meaty comference calls but things that I had prepared for in months and weeks past before all this bore fruit and hold us in good stead. I feel proud because the foresight I have quietly been putting in place will hold us in good stead and working from home for the team has been pretty much seamless and that is enough thanks for me, knowing people are happy and can still work So hard DT, Sarawoo and Treacle how are you all? I had an 11am run to see what that time is like, it is actually like a zombie run! Zig zagging over the road and back to give space and the park I learnt today just dont go anywhere near the path! No solitude in Colchester! Ha! I am going to try and host a zoom early doors at the Spiders Arms tomorrow but not sure it will work, still you have to try new tech and ways to make each other smile Much better with social media today.. trying to avoid all fakey news and genrally focus onthe now and brighter things Like the fact that I have time to run, time to check in with Andrew and make sure my friends are ok Sleep tight all Xx |

Hello folks. Doing alright in Wooland, thanks. Getting enough exercise to stop me from going stir crazy (sorry, DT ). Loving the sunshine and adjusting to the new normal. I'm loving having an extra 2 hours a day to use because I'm not commuting. The first one is usually spent in bed but the second one is used for walking, running and today, for biking so I'm hoping to come out of this a bit fitter. I keep looking for the positives. Apart from improved fitness, there's more time with my husband, and my daughter (I've fetched her home from Nottingham), less food wastage, money saved by not commuting or eating out, the gardening will get done - I'm sure there are others. I'm continuing to lose weight too which surprises me. I usually eat more if stuck at home but I'm resisting most of the bad stuff and although SW has ceased for the duration, I'm sticking to the rules. Have just been asked to volunteer for a 10% pay cut for three months to help keep the company afloat. Difficult times. Stay safe, lovely people. xx |

We have a paddock attached to the house. It's roughly 150 yds perimeter and 38 laps make 3.1 miles / 5 K. I CAN and have run a Parkrun in effect in our back garden
