Over before the weather really kicked in, and although I was marshalling at a prodigiously muddy spot, nobody went down 46 finishers: just in front of the tail was a seven year old doing their first 5K parkrun. Round in 41:07, despite everything. Here's the smallest volunteer.

Then work for a couple of hours then home... Both sat looking at the rain and wind, then back to the multiplayer grid, then back at the window... Goaded each other into a quick 10 minute loop... madness!
