Well run JK & Mr JK - tough conditions for running in.
I ran my locla 10 - Herts 10k yesterday - it was a bit muddy in places but was pleased with my time given my current running fitness.
Damp recovery run today... have a good Monday all!

I ran the Gold Hill 10K yesterday. Decided that I hadn't fully recovered from my head cold and that I hadn't done enough hill training. For those of you that don't know, Gold Hill was made famous by the Ridley Scott Hovis advert - the one with the boy pushing his bike up the hill. However, this is not the worst hill in the run!

Thanks all, and well done, runners! Recover well, westmoors. That sounds like quite a hilly race - fortunately, the area around York is surprisingly flat, considering how vertical a lot of Yorkshire is, so at least I wasn't having to run up and down any serious hills in the downpour.

Surprisingly OK today, apart from one or two minor niggles and twinges, mostly my feet and ankles from dodging through all the puddles, my shoulders from hunching up against the downpour and a bit of chafage from soggy underwear! Will do a bit of walking later to loosen things up.
