5.5 miles with head torches last night. Nice wee club run. So happy to be back out. Anything over 3 miles feels like an ultra to me. I don't miss ultras either! :-) G

I had my first bike ride for 16 days this morning. Short and very slow keeping the HR in the low 90s, just to the greengrocer in the next village. It would have to have been the coldest morning of the season so far ;-) . At least I had my heated gloves to keep my fingers warm. :-)

A bit of slow running might take place next week. I don't think that I'll be doing the 190mpw required to get me to 1,500 for the year :-p

Hello! Well done, Flatlander, don't overdo it though and keep warm. Chilly in the East Mids again.

Running rest day ahead of a lot of laps around Newark Showground tomorrow. The weather should make that 'interesting'. Very excited as I'm hoping to meet up with a Scottish Fetchie!

Bugger, my marathon tomorrow is looking increasingly iffy weather-wise. I can cope with running in crap weather, but the driving-on-black-ice-in-the-dark to get there is not appealing at all. Or driving back on marathon-tired legs.

Double bugger.

Tomorrow from lunchtime onwards, any rain that hits surfaces (pavements, roads, windscreens..........) will instantly turn to ice.

Take care whatever you folks are doing tomorrow.
