um
Go for another run in the rain and/or puddles. That's what running shoes should look like. Well, new ones, before they get a few miles in. |

Morning all. I'm very slowly crawling my way towards the 700 miles. I *should* hit it this week hopefully. My latest setback was my knee playing up for a week or so - I tweaked it while walking to my car after work but it's getting better and I did an easy parkrun on Saturday. 7 miles to go. I may run tonight. Hope everyone is well. I've got the day off my real job and I'm off to meet a new contact for my art stuff. I've also got my first exhibition booked in on 20 October. |

exciting news on exhibition Leave them ITG all the mud will turn to dust and bang off in no time. I used to muck about trying to clean my trail shoes but at some point I realised I needed shoes that I could use on muddy paths |

Morning *waves* to Som - you're a busy boy - and exhibition sounds exciting Gorgeous morning - loving the nip in the air, makes running feel so much easier when it's fresh not humid and warm Those look clean to me ITG - as um says, go find some puddles to run through - or some wet grass |

But I need to take them to Tromso next week, which means putting them in a suitcase - next to my conference robes! [wails]

In that case, when they're dry, bang the mud off and take a brush to them.

I brushed mine yesterday - who washes trainers? They are drying by the door. Make sure you take out the liners ITG, they'll dry better and be less likely to stink. For packing, put them in a plastic bag - doh! |

Or double wrap them in carrier bags before packing

oooo good tip about the liners. I always put them in a bag to pack but there is sooo much mud and they are quite soggy and I'm worried about leaking. Also worried if I run them under the tap they won't be dry in time (though they probably would).
